This is a three day training with Dragonfly Mental Health (an independent nonprofit organization) to introduce long term, sustainable, mental health programming on campus. To do this, we will be introducing an initiative called “Community Champion Train the Trainer”. As one of our first trainers, you would be professionally trained to deliver mental health focused workshops and seminars such as “Introduction to Mental Health Literacy”, “Basics of Burnout”, “Managing Upwards,” and “Active Listening Skills.” Once you receive training, you would commit to lead at least one of these workshops/seminars for students, faculty, or staff on a yearly basis. Once you decide you would like to step down from this role, you would be responsible for training your replacement. (Hence “train the trainer.”)
